VINIFICATION

Controlled-temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 20-22 days and 18 months in French oak barrels followed by a bottle aging of 6-7 months.

WINE PROFILE AND PAIRING

The rather shy nose delivers aromas of leather, stewed fruit, balsamic note with

great minerality thanks to the volcanic soil. The round no-frills palate is somewhat evolved, offering prune and dried cherry accompanied by mellow tannins. Enjoy this bottle with appetizer cold cuts, such as Tuscan ham, fennel and soprassata strictly accompanied by liver crostino as well as main courses such as the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentina and stracotti.

Cool fermentation, partially macerated on the skins; left, until bottling, in contact with the native yeast from the first fermentationor "sur lie".

WINE PROFILE AND PAIRING

It has a pale straw color, with delicate greenish reflections.

The nose is intense, long, continuous and persistent with floral and fruity aromas. Thepalate is broad, savory with hints of flint and a finish of almond and walnut. Excellent as an aperitif or throughout the meal; in addition to the typical pairings for white wines such as fish, shellfish, and seafood does not fear the combination of white meat and light roasts.

2022 NERVI CONTERNO “IL ROSATO”

VINIFICATION

Fermented in stainless steeland and aged 4 months on the lees in cement tanks.

WINE PROFILE AND PAIRING

Salmon color. Floral nose with hints of sweet cherry and raspberry, spice and summer herbs. Palate is congruent with the nose in addition to notes of melon and citrus with bright acidity and slight tannin. This wine finishes soft and round with medium persistence that brings a lovely mineral and smokey note coming from the volcanic and ancient soils.

This is a casual wine to be sipped on its own or eaten with finger foods, enjoy it with fried anchovy, calmari, porchetta or more perfect drink it with some pizza.
